It's been 3 weeks already!! :)

Monday's are always days to reconcile, what did I actually do the past weeks.. Let's start off with the fact that I bought my first car ever!! We bought it off Marieke's brother and it's in my name now, our precious Ford Falcon station which will host us during our camping adventures!
Which brings me to the road trip Marieke and I made with Rudy and Jora! Lovely few days away passed the coastal line of Western Australia. We took some relaxation time in Busselton, where I saw my first wild dolphin ever! Granted us with a visit during an evening stroll down the beach :) amazing to see the bottom of the sea filled with stingrays, the biggest one nearly 2 metres wide!
Then we headed off towards Margaret River where we visited the delightful Chocolate Factory, free wine and chocolate tasting are always welcomed ;)
After a few fun and crazy days we drove back to Perth where we checked in to the Bambu hostel for some party and short nights of sleep ;) We managed to make a deal with the owner which entitled us to some free stay in return of some hard work on a party boat.
So every weekend Marieke and I work on the partyboat from 8 am till 18u, cleaning, stocking alcohol, welcoming people aboard, keeping an eye out for dangerous situations, maintaining order and giving out loads of water to drunk people. In short 'we make your stay enjoyable' ;) luckily we get to meet loads of fun people, we have an awesome team of guys on our boat and we get the opportunity to dance the day away on the floating dance floor and go for a swim!
Furthermore we spend our days walking through the city, exploring new places, meeting more people, eating, partying and of course we are still looking for some farm work to earn our second year visa.

Hi Ayla,
Leuk dat je weer een berichtje stuurt. Fijn voor je dat het zo goed gaat met je en ook al een eigen auto. Denk wel aan links rijden. (even wennen).
Hier is het veel regen en wind, ik ben jalours op je met dat mooie weer in Perth. Aan de oostkust is het anders met veel branden.
